More Admins? Yes or no.

Since Suaside is basically the only (sporadically) active Admin right now, it might be a good time to actually talk about the future of NMA and the Admins in general.

I would like to think that making @Hassknecht into an Admin, or maybe even the powerhungry @Kilus, would be a good choice at this point. I am just brainstorming here and I would throw it in the Website topic, but I fear it would just collect dust there, and it is more a community thing.

So, what do you good people of NMA think, do we need more Admins?

I would insist that any to-be admin solemny swear to not "get a life" within a certain given time period, say, 12 year contract

Seriously though, is there a big difference between an "admin" or a "moderator" on this place or something? Cause I doubt having tons of admins would be a good idea. More moderators on the other hand would probably be for the better.

Instead of nominating people perhaps those who are actually interested should voice their interest and then let an actual admin sort out which would be a good fit? The most qualified to weed our who fits in the role of an admin or a moderator would be an admin or a moderator, not us shouting names.

I think the whole mod-thing works well here on NMA. The mods aren't like rough bouncers on roids but more like dj's or mc's. They serve us, the customers, and the customer is always right.

Then again I don't know what's going on in The Order but I've heard rumours.

Problem is, as far as I know, only admins can ban users, mods can only vat topics and posts ... so if there is no admin around ...

Given the amount of hassle the community RPG project had getting a new forum, I think some new admins would be good, quite apart from moderation duties.
