Well call me Nostra-Fucking-damus it looks like I was right! I am going to go on a rant here so bear with me.
You know Randy, you and your company have done a lot of sleazy and shady shit over the years! From injecting obnoxious SJW politics into your best selling franchise, to embezzling millions from other devs and publishers, to calling gamers sexist and racist, to having barely legal to slightly illegal porn on a usb, to your beta male unfunny feminist writer Anthony Burch forcing women on the casting couch if they wanted a job at Gearbox and countless other shit that I am not going to look into at the moment cuz I am foaming at the mouth as it is. Gamers were willing to forgive you for all that(One of the reason why I get so pissed off at gamers, they are too quick to forgive and forget in order to get their hands on the next shinny object. EA has gotten away with so much shady shit for so long thanks to that mindset.) and turn the other cheek so long as you did one thing, don't make Borderlands 3 a Epic Games Store exclusive! You couldn't even do that could you Randy?! Instead you whored yourself out to Epic Games on Twitter cuz that Fortnite money was just too much for your greedy hands. Than again, I do wonder how you were able to pay for your wife to have that crappy restaurant in a prime location so there is my answer.
Oh and in my personal opinion, Borderlands 3 looks like cringey shit. I will not be giving Gearbox my money and instead see if I can donate to the developers of ATOM as they actually made something that is engrossing and of quality.

To be honest, I never liked Borderlands. Tales from the Borderlands was fun, but that’s because it was one of Telltale’s best and not a cringey, répétitive loot n shooter. You want my opinion (I don’t care either way, I’m giving it to you), Borderlands was always on a collision course with this kind of territory. Just so happens that it lasted 2 main series entries longer than I thought it would and should have.

(Although as a Console gamer, I could care less about a PC version being Epic Games Store timed exclusive)

Also, did anyone else find it odd that there were more gay and bi people then straight people in Borderlands 2? I mean, I am all for gay and bi characters but when they out number straight characters, well, that is not how it is in real life. Then again, these NPC's don't live in the real world.

Sorry, I'd just that Claptrap is such a cute little charming robot and Borderlands is Gearbox's best franchise and remained to be a unique breed of First-Person Shoot N' Loot that beats all the other games that are trying to be like Borderlands, but can never top it at all. Ex. Destiny, Fallout 4, etc.
I'm glad to see that Borderlands 3 is coming soon and I can't wait to play it... so let's just turn this thread around and see the best of Gearbox has to offer, okay?
Edited: Okay, Randy is sleazy, but rarely heard of him. This isn't about some dynamic story or a bunch of relationships between Lesbians, Homosexuals, Bisexuals and other kinds of bullshit you wanted to add, Borderlands is all about Shooting and Looting, with new classes, over one billion guns (even the gun has legs), new worlds to explore, and online cooperation. And that, gentlemen, is what Borderlands is all about! At least have some fun with it, am I right?

Not knocking you for wanting to play the game. Your money your choice so feel free to spend your money and have fun. In a way I envy you. I however just can't get behind Gearbox anymore. Randy and Gearbox have spat in my face too many times that I just can't take it anymore.

What games do you prefer being "fun"? I mean Saints Row 2-4 is fun, Borderlands 1 and 2 is fun, even the classic Ratchet and Clank games are fun and may I say more? Because I'm not going on and on about it, I'd just wanted to hear from you on what games do you prefer being fun, that's all.

Imo the best Gearbox has to offer is crippling depression. Also, F4 trying to be Borderlands? Wouldn’t go that far. Like Ranger said, not knocking you for wanting to play 3. Go for it. But I personally cannot stand BL.

Fallout NV, unironically Skyrim, Far Cry 5 (yeah, yeah, crucify me if you gotta), Fallout 1 and 2, obvi, MK (any of em), Crusader Kings, Total War, Kingdom Come Deliverance, GoT (the Telltale game; the story is fantastic imo), Icewind Dale, Baldur’s Gate, the Banner Saga series, Spider-Man PS4, Sleeping Dogs (cult classic), Yakuza, Diablo 2, Warhammer: Vermintide, Mad Max PS4, We. The Revolution (just came out; I LOVE IT), Dead Rising, Rebuild 3, Bioshock, Age of Decadence, Dark Souls 3, Victoria II, ATOM, an indie game called Ultimate General Gettysburg (it’s better on mobile than PC; UI looks and feels nicer), and tbh I’ve always had a soft spot for the mobile company HexWar. There’s a lot more, but that should give you an idea.

Again, no one is judging you for liking Borderlands, and I’m not saying any of these are better than BL, just that I personally hate the Borderlands series. I think the humor is forced and the gameplay gets old, etc. Doubtless the same can be said of many of the games I listed.

I think I'll prefer Borderlands 1 than 2 and Pre-Sequel, because you've got to appreciate the originals more than its popular sequel, am I right?
Also I agree that the gameplay can get a bit old and sometimes I don't pay attention to the humor, because I was focusing on the gameplay more than the actual humor at the same time. But a couple of jokes can get me.
I'd found Borderlands 1 to be action-packed and funny at the same time than with Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel, so thank you for giving me a bit of insight my man!

The games I find fun are games like: The Batman Arkham games, Fallout 1,2 and NV, ATOM, The Sims, Kingdom Hearts, Total War, Skyrim(unironically), Bioshock 1, Red Dead, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Sunless Sea, Spider-Man, The Witcher, Neverwinter and believe it or not the first Borderlands. As you can see some of these games I like you would probably say are shit and that's fine. It's just our taste are different. I am not at all excited for Borderlands 3 but many were and it just angers me that Gearbox would give the finger to a fanbase that has remained loyal and steadfast in their support for them and their games despite all the bad stuff they've done.

Eh... Not a huge fan of Randy or Gearbox, but I've always had a somewhat soft spot for Borderlands. I don't care about a 3rd right now however. I might play it someday.

I dunno, getting annoyed and complaining about 'SJW Bullshit' just seems really stupid to me.
So what BL2 has more gay/bi characters than straight, it's a loot 'em up, whacky sci fi game, the writing is the least of the game's problems
 
I really liked Borderlands 1 when it came out. I was really excited when 2 came out and thought the humor and feeling of the game was lost a lot. The gameplay had more to it and the overall game wasn't as janky but the spirit of what I liked in 1 was largely lost in 2.

Also, what's the game Gearbox is going to work on this time so they can redirect the development money into Borderlands 3?

Time will tell, but I doubt it. One thing I’ve learned from watching companies like Gearbox over the years is that it’s never enough. Over time, all things become pure product because it’s all about more, about go big or go home, to use a cliche. They could have bankrupted the US Treasury with all that Fortnite dlc and they’d still ask “how can we top that?”

The games industry as a whole is becoming more about quantity than quality; even if they had one job, that one job was, in their eyes, too much to ask.

And, considering Randy is involved, I wouldn’t be surprised if he blamed the players for low BL 3 sales rather than taking responsibility for their fucktarded distribution choice.
 
I feel that we have entered the dark age of PC gaming. I don't begrudge anyone for pirating but the problem now is that more devs are going to put anti-pirating software in their games that is going to fuck with everyone's PC's and that is not cool. I wish that they would go back to selling physical copies of PC games again. Thanks Epic Games for ruining PC gaming with store exclusive shit.
Oh and more news about Borderlands 3: It's going to be filled with micro-transactions! Because of course it is! Randy can't fucking help himself!
