New Vegas gave me some hope. I foolishly expected Bethesda to take, at least, some notes from what Obsidian did and maybe create a better Fallout game than their first one. In the end I should have paid more attention to what Bethesda did with Skyrim than what Obsidian did with New Vegas. It...
With the excuse of modding Bethesda is trying to get away with an underwhelming amount of clothes, armors and weapons. And most weapons/armors don´t even look that different when modded.
Game of the Year!
I don´t understand why they decided to go early XX century with (most) small guns. Having a few models like NV is ok, as long as you also have other more modern designs. But this is absurd.
Happened to me while helping Bobbi in Goodneighbour. I didn´t have the chance to convince Bobbi to stand down (which it should be possible, I checked the wikia), we were attacked as soon as we came out of the basement. And when it was all over, Bobbi attacked me and the robot-loving guy.
That made me think "WTF?" the first time I saw them. I mean, they are sterile and the process to make more require a rare human-developed virus (although thanks to Bethesda it seems to have become quite common). They should care a bit more about blowing themselves up. But then you keep playing...
Doesn´t really balance much, considering that companions cannot die. Sure, with PA they take a few more hits before going down, but on the long run means nothing.
I used to equip Piper with a fully upgraded T-51f plus titanium coat (coudn´t afford the cost of repairing two T-60 or an X-01 plus...
They didn´t need to design it, only refurbish those old T-45d. They built the Prydwen from nothing but pieces found on the old airbase after all, a giant airship that can carry Vertibirds. Compared to that, how hard would it be to improve some systems and armored pieces of an already existing...
All of what you said. Also the fact that the PA gets damaged too when used by companions. The same companions that cannot die, at all, ever.
Another thing that bothers me is the T-60. Couldn´t Bethesda just fit it in by making it an improvement over the T-45 (they look quite similar) made by...
No. Quite frankly I don´t give a damn about other people on this regard. What pisses me off is that I can no longer enjoy a saga that I used to love. New Vegas gave me a small measure of hope, even though it was not developed by Bethesda. But now I see there is no hope for "old-guard" RPG...
