I recently tried installing the mac version of the original Fallout game on my imac (Mac OS X version 10.2) and it installed just fine. But when I actually tried to play, the cursor was maddenlingly sluggish, on the main menu and during gameplay. I did try increasing the mouse speed during game...

argh!!!! I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, got the patch and all, and now when I try to play, it screws up! I'm now trying to do the temple of trials over again, but I can't even walk in before the screen goes black and and error message pops up, complete with the "something's wrong" alert...

It might have something to do with editors and stuff that I've DLed for the game... I'm at a loss here. I did get the humongous installation, however. And this only started happening yesterday, when I figured I needed to give the computer a break. But I started up cold this morning and the same...

Oh weird.... I pushed the escape button while the talk screen was stuck, and the menu popped up. So I saved in a new slot to see if the error would still be there if I loaded the game, and it was. But weirdly enough, the loaded game had the console at the bottom, and it worked just fine. But the...

Right now, I'm in Broken Hills, but the problem is not exclusive to this area. Basically, I talk to someone and when the conversation is over, the talk screen stays up, but without any talk options or anything and I can't get out of it without force quitting the game. I tried going to the barter...

yeah, I'm trying to hook up with Miria, but all I can do thus far is get it on with her. I was able to marry her brother, so I just reloaded and tried with her. Every time, though, I get into combat mode with the father, and no matter what I do, I can't find the option to marry Miria... I never...
