Republic of China (Taiwan) in Fallout Universe

Being one of my favorite nations, I just have to ask, what happened to it in the world of Fallout? Perhaps it was to the communist Chinese as Cuba is to us? I doubt that the free world would let it go and let it get annexed.

    Radiation After the War

I believe it states in the Fallout Bible that the nuclear weapons of 2077 were roughly equivalent to early 1950's atomic bombs in terms of yield.

    Post-war Los Angeles?

It would be larger than it is in 2015, given population growth. Thus, there would be an increase in vertical construction. Wouldn't have our "modern" styles, but would certainly have skyscrapers.

    Radiation After the War

What has began to bug me is that there is a lot more radiation than what seems realistic in some areas of the wastes, given the time after the war and the setting. Look at Nagasaki and Hiroshima, look at A-bomb test sites. Are they still reeking with deadly radiation? No. I'm not a nuclear...

Maybe a somewhat good reason why DC looks firebombed?

Yes, I believe in the Fallout Bible it said that the yield of their weapons were around early 1950's levels. However, it is said that ALL capable nations launched atomic weapons at each other during the Great War, and I think they may have had a LOT more nuclear weapons than we ever have had in...

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

And I partially agree with with Sn1p3r187, being I don't get much of a 1960's feel from Fallout (at most, only the early 1960's, around 1960-1963).

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Okay okay, I agree with how ridiculous they've pumped it up to be and how stupid it can be at times. (Really? People don't notice that their food is filled with DEADLY RADIATION, so known about by the 1950's?) I thought Fallout 4's pre-war intro fit my vision of the pre-war world, however.

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Yeah, we all know the crimes of Bethesda. But their interpretation of pre-war society isn't one of them. The reason I bring up this matter is that I have seen a few people here and there saying that Bethesda made pre-war society too retro-futuristic. I contest this claim, being that I think...

Maybe a somewhat good reason why DC looks firebombed?

Look at photographs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki aftermath, lots of buildings were obliterated. I don't know why I'm trying to defend this, just been studying nuclear weapons/atomic bombs lately. This still leaves a lot of holes, though. EDIT: Then again, WHY THE HELL DOES FALLOUT 4 LOOK SO NICE...

Everything in Fallout 4 looks too new

How should I respond to someone who says it is "just a game" and it "doesn't matter" that it makes no sense?

I'm New to the Fallout Universe and something already bugs me...

Lol - even someone who isn't a completely dorky nerd like me can see the foul logic reeking from this game.

Could the SPECIAL system be applied to a Star Trek RP?

Yeah, I already had the idea of getting rid of certain skills and adding others. EDIT: Already creating & modifying the SPECIAL system for Star Trek. I added another set of values, just for languages.

Could the SPECIAL system be applied to a Star Trek RP?

Just looking for opinions. I wasn't sure where to post this.

    PERKS: THE POSTER REVEALED.

Well, despite it being Bethesda, their marketing campaign for the SPECIAL stats is good, besides the fact that pre-war people wouldnt know as much as it portrays in the films about post-war wasteland.

    Pip-Boy 2000 wrist-mounted or handheld?

I always thought of it more as something you hold, and the wrist-mounted versions would most commonly appear on power armor, being that the wrist-mounted edition would be heavy and clunky.
