To bypass the turret you need to wait until it exits combat mode then walk slowly around it, hugging the walls. WALK, don't RUN. And don't stop untill you're shielded by the wall from it.

You join a different server by typing its address in the server case, under the "net" tab in the launcher. You speak with other people by pressing enter and typing in the message box. press F1 in the game to see a list of commands.

Guys, the loss of radio thing is really annoying. I'll create dummy characters and leave their radios at the cathedral. Maybe more of us should do the same thing. That way, when we lose our radio dying we know we can get one up there.

Man, right when it was picking up. I got disconnected while traveling to Redding. Good thing I got off'd in the wasteland, not in some town. First server seems to be down for me.
