    Oh sorry, I didn't realize posting a definition was ignorant. Or is that dictionary wrong? If you find a different definition of isometric perspective, I'd love to see it. But based on the definition I found, when someone says "not isometric," they don't necessarily mean "first-person."

    Then... you'd be staring at nothingness the whole time? I think you mean "What if it stays on the edge, but you can switch which edge; in other words, rotate in 90 degree increments, a la Final Fantasy Tactics?" In that case, yes, it would be isometric. Apparently I should have clarified...
