    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #4

Never heard that term before right this very moment. I could have compared it with KOTOR or Baldur's Gate, but neither came to mind when I was writing. This one is pretty easy. Unreal Tournament III and Crysis sold poorly despite looking absolutely phenomenal. Many folks I talked to simply...

I find it more interesting that you have interpreted it that way. I miss being able to disable folks with a well placed pellet. In the ruins of DC there is a *lot* to discover under the rubble. Out in the wastes there is quite a bit less. You expect it to hold extraordinary meaning to the...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #4

Exactly why we don't use advertising from developers and publishers. :) As Brother None pointed out, I'll be glad to answer any questions you guys have about the game. You guys were objective and level-headed for the most part last time I dropped in, so I figured I'd extend the same...

Always a million and one things you think to do after you leave - I wanted to see the map up close too. :/ Oh well.

Ahh, nice. Thanks for the link. It's better than the talking heads from Oblivion.

Awesome. :D The only thing they told us we couldn't talk about was if we happened to stumble into any dialog about our dad and why he left - obviously that'd be a spoiler and would ruin it for somebody else. A reasonable request in my estimation. The reason you are seeing so much on graphics...

They had some nice kiosks set up in their space with only the TV and a controller visible. I just rang up Pete Hines and asked - he said that they were all 360. And please, call me Ron or Knightshade or KS - the Mr. Burke thing just reminds me of the surly bastard from last E3's demo. ;)

I wanted to see the PC version as well, for comparison sake and also to see if the interface has been changed to fit the platform. The Oblivion interface suffered badly from ultra-mega-huge-o-vision text so large you could read it from across the state. It would be nice to see an interface...

Bingo. No conspiracy. I AM an old fan, just like you guys. That said, I also see the merits of something good, even if it isn't exactly what we might all expect. A pleasant fiction, if you will, if not exactly canon.

    Bethesda responds to NMA's preview

Apology accepted. As for 'the rule' - my meeting was the very last meeting on the very last day. Any gaps in the rule were most certainly hemmed up by then. Between you, me, this giant community, and the fencepost - I think it is silly not to allow us to at least record audio or video for...

    Bethesda responds to NMA's preview

Wow, and now my respect for Brother None drops quite a bit: "Brother None: Nope. The temptation would've been great, but I was literally sitting right next to Pete Hines, I think he would've noticed. I kind of cheated and copied a number of quotes from the first event and the recordings...

I know exactly how you feel. These sorts of trips are an incredible drain on independent site finances. I'm glad you guys got to go out there and see the game for yourself though. It is always hard to really convey a demo like that in just words alone.

*Shrug* Their opinion. :) (throws a little mud in the water) Heh, dealing with Nintendo's PR Drones is far worse. :P

I bet you'd pound on the door where they have food and shelter if you survived though... I said in my preview that the Overseer thinks you are 'in on it' so you bail rather than face his wrath.
