    Fallout Collection and Windows 7

If you install the Fallout Restoration Project, you should find that FO2 works fine. I'm running it on Win7 64-bit with no problems, at 1920x1200 resolution. Haven't tried FO1 yet.

    f2rp 2.1.2b bug?? Slaver Camp

f2rp 2.1.2b bug?? Slaver Camp [SOLVED] Okay, I finally solved this. I left the camp entirely, and camped overnight in the countryside outside the camp. The next day, I returned to camp, but now all the other bodies were gone, this one survivor was still there, but now I could attack and...

f2rp: Use the Binoculars, Luke!! HA! (maybe spoilers)

    > You have not read the game manual, dude! Do it. HA! I've played this game a half-dozen times since I first read the manual, years ago... obviously though, as you note, I need to do it again! Or, alternately, I can just stand around with a red face!!

    FO2 at 1920x1200 - palette issues on cut-scenes

    >From the Main menu click the Options button, Click the SCRN button then set Colours to 16bit. *That was it!!!* That's why the colors suddenly work, I did the Colours change that you suggested, I just forgot about it. Thanks!

    f2rp 2.1.2b bug?? Slaver Camp

Wow, this is really weird... There *is* one opponent *sort of* still alive. If I enter combat mode and switch to targetting cursor, this one person highlights. However, I cannot attack him!! When I place the cursor over him, it shows as a red X. Also, once I exit combat mode...

    FO2 at 1920x1200 - Yikes!! I need Zoom!!

Well, the upshot of all this discussion is that, shift-key does a thorough and effective job of solving my problem!! Thank you very much to Pixote and others who mentioned that option!

well, apparently nobody has any ideas about this, but in fact the issues went away the next day!! All the palettes display perfectly now. Very odd.

    f2rp 2.1.2b bug?? Slaver Camp

I've killed everyone that I can find in this area, have freed everyone in the large (west) cage, but when I try to open the east (indoor) cage, Kurisu asks "is it safe yet?", and my only dialog option is "no, let me finish here". But I can't find anyone else alive in the area. I've been behind...

f2rp: Use the Binoculars, Luke!! HA! (maybe spoilers)

I spoke to the shaman, but had no clue what to do after that, so I looked at the hints... "use the binoculars" it said... so I looked all over the grounds (Thank You shift key!!), no binoculars. Talked to everyone, nobody would sell me a pair... I couldn't find the D#*@ binoculars ANYWHERE...

    FO2 at 1920x1200 - Yikes!! I need Zoom!!

Hi Pixote, thank you and everyone else for the replies, I'll try the shift key, I didn't know about that!! I guess I don't need to upload images, since Agris already did. Generally, I've found that everything renders fine at 1920x1200, although (as he noted) not all sites actually fill the...

    FO2 at 1920x1200 - Yikes!! I need Zoom!!

Oh, this is just amazing... when I thought of going back to Fallout 2 again, re-living those ancient experiences, I thought I was going to have major unhappiness with my modern, quad-core system, running Windows 7 64-bit on a 1920x1200 screen. However, between the unofficial Official patch...

    FO2 at 1920x1200 - palette issues on cut-scenes

I'm using the GOG version of FO2, and I installed killap's unofficial patch and RP 2.1.2b. I'm using Win7 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GTS 460, and a gorgeous 25.5" ASUS monitor at 1920x1200 resolution. The main game is working fine. However, the cut-scenes have the common palette-corruption...
