Have you replayed Fallout 3 yet? How was it?

I am currently unable to get my DLC back since I switched to a new PS3 slim and thus don't have any installed. However, when I get the stuff back I'll probably have at least one playthrough for old time's sake.

    Independent/Yes Man or Mr.House ending?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd like to see what happened to the rest of the world. I'm really hoping we see a Fallout game that moves away from the USA. Of course, that would upset the American audience...

Would you have liked Fallout 3 if . . .

Which particular weapon are we talking about here? I don't recall any large howitzers being destroyed in Fallout 3...

What was your first character like?

I went with a socially maladjusted bisexual alcoholic. She turned out nicer than I'd planned.

What do you expect from Honest Hearts?

I kind of wish they hadn't included the Burned Man; it's nice to have some things left unexplained.

Anyone have idea why New Vegas is already under $20.00?

Okay... to address the initial point, my guess is that New Vegas has experienced a price drop because it is for Fallout fans, not for new players. Thus, it simply does not appeal as much to people who don't already know about Fallout. Seriously, I can still remember my first impression of...

    Here lies Cass...

Heh, now I'm tempted to try and produce a new playthrough and keep a diary of it, just to see what kind of a story it produces. :P

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

Ah yes, I remember that now... I always assumed the former was a lie to try and carry favour with the guy. The latter I hadn't heard.

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

But I don't have a choice. Every 'choice' is the same; whoever you side with, they send you off to murder your way across the Mohave. Only the NCR let you spare the Brotherhood (so I'm told; I don't remember ever seeing that option. Might have been bugged). This is not a choice. A Choice...

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

Yeah, there is that... but honestly the Platinum Chip had lost its importance to me by that point. Don't misunderstand me, I had hardly thrown up my hands and declared "why the fuck do I still have to play this game!?" but my motivations were no longer story driven. That said, as my post...

    Here lies Cass...

I know your pain my friend. I too have a tale of heartache to tell regarding Cassidy, but rather than just spill it here I think I'll recount it in character... You know, the long journey back to New Vegas gave us plenty of time to think. All Cass thought of was revenge, I knew that much. All...

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

I think you misunderstand here; I'm not talking about subplots and stuff like that. Fallout 3's Plot is, more or less, as follows: You begin as a Vault Dweller, oblivious to the wider world. You learn your father has somehow left the Vault (an impossibility to your mind) and are forced to go...

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

Well here's the thing; whether or not something is forced, or railroading, or whatever, entirely depends on personal perception. I think I only actually completed the entire Fallout 3 storyline twice; the rest of the time I went off and did my own thing and all but ignored the plot. As such, it...

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

I guess it's because it happened differently. My first playthrough of FO3 I was on the side of the Brotherhood and wanted to help them. As such, I was not "forced" into the quests, because I was happy to go along with it. In New Vegas, I was forced to wipe out the Brotherhood despite the fact...

According to The Escapist's Extra Credits...

That CAN be a good thing. The problem is that New Vegas has painted this wonderful picture of a world on the edge of war... but that's all it is, a painting. What New Vegas needed was a game clock. Day 7, the Powder Gangers raid Goodsprings. Day 31, a Deathclaw runs rampant through a trade...
