I know I don't have to, but it kind of ruins the immersion to pretend that the Enclave isn't launching a massive attack after seeing all those Vertibirds taking off. There's definitely a sense of urgency there. :D

What about the end cinematics? I was told that you see different things depending on if you finished Agatha's Song, and Head of State.

Ok, so I'm playing GotY edition (PC), and I'm nearing the end of the main quest for the first time. If I had been aware that retrieving the GECK was basically the point of no return for the main quest, I would have never entered Vault 87, and I'm a bit annoyed that the game didn't drop me any...

Fallout 2 was bigger, but definitely not better. It also had about 10x more bugs than FO1. I enjoyed FO2, but it kind of dragged on towards the end. I had to force myself to finish it.
