I'm having the same problems as oldskool here and have no idea what to do. Have followed http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/F2RP_Technical_Info to the t 3 times also. Installing Fallout 2 - works fine. Delete 256 entry in the registry - fine. Installed RP with the legacy option - still works but...
