    How did you end OWB?

Interesting. I killed the giant roboscorpion before talking to Mobius, but I also repaired the ghosting before getting to the point where it seemed like all I could do was kill him. Thanks for the info, though.

    How did you end OWB?

It must've glitched, then. The only option I had was "kill you now". I guess I got impatient and didn't try all the dialog options before giving up. Thanks for the info!

Completed everything, what do I do now?

Go outside and get some fresh air?

    How did you end OWB?

I didn't seem to have an option NOT to kill Mobius. During the final chat with him, the only option I had to finish the dialog was something like, "And I'm here to kill you now". I wonder what I did differently to limit my options. I retrieved my brain and partnered with the Think Tank...

    OWB Micro Review

I don't remember it being as consistently bad in FO3, but I haven't played it since it came out. I do remember feeling that way occasionally, though. I noticed it right away in NV. Maybe it's been an issue all along, and I've just become more sensitive to it. I really hope this is an...

    OWB Micro Review

Positives: Loved the scientist characters and the location. The new item and NPC additions were interesting. Voice acting was generally very good. As many have noted, the sense of humor is excellent here. Negatives: Exploration of the area was unsatisfying because there was very little of...

Do you think it's perfectly okay to dismiss Fallout 3...

Yep - console users got screwed. Bethesda made little-to-no effort to fix the bugs on the Xbox and PS3. I'm not expecting better from FONV, to be honest. >:[

Do you think it's perfectly okay to dismiss Fallout 3...

You won't miss out on anything if you go straight to FONV simply because there's practically no continuity between the stories. Same world, different place and time. That said, if you find you enjoy FONV, I'd go ahead and give FO3 a try. Unlike some people here, I think FO3 has its own...

    Let's be thankful!

Similar to the great job on the artwork, the SOUNDTRACK took that initial Ink Spots seed and ran with it. Another big part of why I got into FO3 was definitely the music.

    Let's be thankful!

With the Thanksgiving holiday coming soon in the U.S.*, I thought it'd be nice to point out the things that Bethesda got right with its re-invigoration of the Fallout series. There have been mountains of talk about what it got wrong - and some of it is deserved criticism - but let's turn to the...

    Will Obsidian make another FO?

Yes, a day after launch they release a patch that fixes "200+ quest and scripting issues". Obviously, they shipped the game knowing there were 200+ quest and scripting issues to be fixed. And this doesn't address technical problems like lock-ups on the PS3 and Xbox versions that require...

    Will Obsidian make another FO?

If that were true, I believe they would've made a much stronger effort to address all the bugs being complained about in forums for months after the release of FO3's DLC (and, of course, more recently with FONV).

    Will Obsidian make another FO?

The good/bad news is that it's very unlikely Bethesda cares enough about "hardcore Fallout fans" to be throwing any bones at them. There simply aren't enough of those to produce a multi-million-dollar game for. Whatever their reasons for handling FONV they way they did, that certainly wasn't...

    FO1/FO2 opening sequences -- HD??

I love the opening 'film' sequences for both Fallout 1 and 2. Has anyone tried recreating them for modern/hi-res displays? I wonder if the original art assets are sitting around somewhere... maybe locked up in some vault...
