I just got fallout 1 working on Windows 7 x64. It did not require a manual install (used Original CD). The updates however did require manual installation. Sorry to bump this thread..but if you are still having problems I can post everything that I did to bring it up to speed.

I also want to point out that I tried renaming the fallout2.cfg to fallout.cfg and also took into account that Install.bat extracts master.dat and critter.dat is already included with the Konstruktor install. Which means that the cfg file was edited as thus: [system] critter_dat=data\...
