I have exactly the same problem. And there is no "patch000.dat" in my Fallout 2 folder. If there's no known fix, can somebody please tell me if the bug will prevent me from getting those Redding quests? Or is it just a "cosmetic" effect as Skeleton said? Win7 64-bit US version of...
