Besides of Lone Survivor and Metro as candidates for the list, what I would have definitely put into it are Fallen Earth, the MMO and The Fall.
Of course both are not perfect games. Fallen Earth has quality issues in post Release content imho but offers like 100-200h of solid post apocalyptic...
Looks like a sandbox game without sandbox mode. :(
Well there is one in the Stretch goals. But it's so far away, that they won't be able to reach it unfortunately.

I think post apocalyptic games under the surface are more of a natural thing to do.
Metro 2033 wasn't really the first game and I doubt too many people read the book(s).
Fallout 3 also had huge parts of it in the underground. And maybe you remember Hellgate London. In that game the Metro...

I completely agree. DLC itself is a nice thing.
But it should be seen as small expansion which is distributed digitally. Bethesda did a good job with that mostly (consindering Fallout, not talking about the "horse armor incident").
However other publishers/developers use DLCs to rip players...
I neither own any iOS device nor do I have any idea how such releases look like.
What exactly can you expect from these versions? Will the iOS Version will exactly look like the game on the dosbox? Or do they actually "improve" the game by lets say...implement better controls or sound and...
