I don't remember anybody being insulted because of saying that he will like the game. Some may like it, some may not. I probably won't and I don't understand why shouldn't I be able to write about it. Does it really makes me an "internet tough guy"?
So anyone knows if I have to like...
It's something I really wouldn't want to see in this game. Not only this Godzilla thing but can't they make just an ordinary rocket or grenade launcher? Besides killing it with 5 simple rockes would look better then lauching 5 nukes...
So I read today that perception affects to-hit chance. :)
But APs won't be probably so important as earlier since most of shooting is in real time. And as to weapon skills it will affect them only in early parts of the game, later you can make it up with high intelligence=lots of skill points...
I know what Str, En, Cha, In, and Luck can affect, but what about perception and agility? Only for aimmed shots and one dialog when you have to test your abilities? :?
I think you got to deep into it. They wanted to make FO3 because they thought it would be fun, but when they started it turned out to be a lot of work. So they decided to add VATS to Oblivion and persuade everyone that it's great.
I've also heard that since Bethesda noticed some Jackass humor in previous Fallout there's going to be more stuff like that in FO3.
-Drinking from toilets is an example.
-You'll be able to blast off from your butt not only ordinary fireworks but also nuclear load!
-And a lot more crazy...
No one ever said that all of us are :) I haven't read this magazine for few years but form what I remeber this guy is more like racing games fan... No wonder he doesn't have anything against replacing turns with "real action".
This is not an excuse :D
Not gonna buy it... my PC is a little slow :( And if i'm going to buy a shooter for PS3 it will probably be Killzone 2 or Unreal (unfortunately Fallout 3 in this form is on the end of the line) so Be.Soft. is not getting any money from me...
I'm sure there is much more of you :)
Personally I don't know one person who likes Bethesdas vision of new Fallout. Even people who played it very little aren't pleased. It must be something wrong with people who write those artices (the other articles :) ), not with us.
