A lot of FPS's are being released with "strong" stories these days. Its starting to blur the line of RPG and Story based Action games. There was a lull a few years back in the platformer field. PC Gamer and EGM both had big articles discussing this and asking why such a fun type of game...

I agree, I own Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and all of its expansions, and another copy of morrowind on the Xbox. Bethesda is easily my favorite developer that is still alive and kicking. Companies like Looking Glass and Black Isle I will always love and miss, but we gotta move with the times...
