Fallout 3 was my first Fallout game but it didn't really introduce me to the series since it was too average to hold my interest after beating it once. It was after playing Fallout New Vegas and enjoying that alot that I looked into the earlier games of the series.

1. I enjoyed the crafting system for the most part. Unfortunately, many of the guns are too heavy (and can double in weight from modding) and some don't look good. And the Ballistic Weave upgrade is ridiculously overpowered. 2. Compared to 3 and NV, Power Armor felt much better to use though it...

Ok. Looking through the wiki, I can see that the Oh, Baby! (I really liked using this weapon), Blade of the West, Knock-Knock, Super Sledge, Saturnite Fist Super-heated (out-damages Ballistic Fist if you have Pyromaniac), Protonic Inversal Axe, and Gehenna are all top-tier weapons, but of course...

There's a YCS/186 Gauss Rifle available at a mercenary camp east of Brooks Tumbleweed Ranch that does more damage than the regular Gauss Rifle but isn't available if you have the Wild Wasteland trait since the merc carrying the YCS/186 will be replaced by an alien captain carrying an Alien...

I just finished my first Fallout 2 playthrough using Restoration Project...very enjoyable. I'm surprised and glad that another release is coming, I'll be sure to play it when it's here. Wish more games had free expansion packs of this caliber. :clap:

I try to use most of the weapons (aside from missile launchers and the like) but I find that i use This Machine more than the rest. I also use Gehenna alot when enemies get close.
