I thought about going ahead and ask him how many writers/designers are usually required for a game like Wasteland 2, but I didn't want to pry. 12 sounds like a lot to me, but I really have no idea.

Pledged $75. Even if I don't doubt the goal will be met, I wonder if it's going to take as much steam as DF Adventure. Point'n clicks may be confidential, but turn-based, party-based, top down RPG with loads of texts does sound really obscure.

That's a very interesting read. I can't wait for the full review. While the game is a C+ for me, I agree that Fallout 3 represents quite a few steps in the right direction for Bethesda. Let's hope they will be able to focus on the good things and cut the crap out for their future titles.

The funny thing is that the game does not sound intrinsically bad. The core gameplay seems pretty alright for a shooter w/ rpg elements, but Bethesda ruined it by trying too hard to cram as much content, loot, gore, VATS whatever into the game. Bethesda should try to meditate on the 'less is...
