    I don't see anything specifically about the Karma Beacon or Cult of Personality perks in the .txt file for Killap's patch. However, I did notice this: Does this mean those perks are indirectly fixed by the patch?

    Fallout Shady Sands Crash

    That's probably not the best solution. What I do is open the file called ddraw.ini, go under [Graphics], and set Mode=4 (or 5 for windowed mode.) There will still be moderate corruption during the cutscenes, however. You could also try installing a high-resolution patch. More info here...

    In Fallout 1, high luck makes you more likely to get special encounters. I think it's more complicated in Fallout 2, though, because of "bad" special encounters.     When do skills cap?

    Does there come a point when raising your skills doesn't even have an effect anymore? I know how your chance to hit increases with your combat skills, but is there any reason to raise skills like speech and repair to ridiculous levels like 200%?

    Does charisma actually affect NPC reactions?

    Charisma modifies your speech and barter skills, and in Fallout 2, high charisma increases your party limit. But are there actual checks against charisma? Like, if my speech and barter skills were high enough (and I didn't care about my party limit) would it even matter if I had 1 charisma?

    Disabling traps

    When I'm walking around an area with traps, I'll get a message saying something like "you detect a trap nearby" if my traps skill is high enough. Is there any way to disable the traps, or do I just try to avoid them?

    Where can I get rocks?

    I see rocks all over the place in Fallout 1, but I don't know how to pick them up. Clicking on them does nothing, and examining them only gives a message. According to the Fallout wiki, the locations of rocks are too numerous to list, so I'm not sure why I can't seem to find them as a weapon.

    What happens at level-up?

    I know the following things happen when you level-up: -Additional hit points equal to (EN/2)+2 -Additional skill points equal to (IN*2)+5 -A perk every 3 levels Does anything else happen, though? Any increase in sequence, armor class, etc.

    Motion Sensors (Fallout 1)

    In Fallout 1, does the motion sensor give a 20% bonus to Outdoorsman like in Fallout 2, or does it just show living things on the Pip-Boy map?
