though they prefer the euphemism "dress left" or "dress right", from my understanding

Honestly I enjoy being blunt like that with professional people like doctors and tailors because they're clearly not used to it and it makes them uncomfortable; i.e. telling my doctor "My cock is broken. Fix it." instead of "I have erectile dysfunction and I think it's because of my antipsychotics."

I used to be pretty blunt with my doctors until I moved and had to get new ones (that were all women).
