Well, I find it strange after all these years, so many people are parting ways over politics. My family was always immune but it has spread.

The tribalism of politics is overwhelming the bonds of the family unit. It's strange until you consider the possibility that it's by design. There have been people destroying the concept of family and replacing it with something more malleable and... controllable for quite some time now.

It's usually very difficult and/or dramatic to be drummed out of a family unit. It's much easier to police the contents of, say, a political affiliation.
