The fanboys don't care. They still ate it up and are on massive damage control for Bethesda as we speak.

@RangerBoo they want to justify their purchase to have value because denying that thought in their mind would mean that they may have also made a mistake backing Bethesda for Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. It's an effect I've seen coined as "The Sunk Cost Fallacy."

At this point, Bethesda could mail their Fanboys a box full of manure as a "collector item" and they would defend it.

The cardboard disc thing is silly but it kinda shows how pointless discs are in the first place where we have DRM games. The discs that include codes for Steam or other launchers were just nice to have I guess? Or to install most of the game without downloading it?
