In any case the Broly movie is okay fun, but it's not worth going to a theater to watch it. Animation is more fluid than usual but it's nothing groundbreaking. Story is barebones too. But hey Gogeta vs Broly is canon now.

come to think on it they kinda fucked up goku's backstory. wasn't he sent to earth to kill everyone? also wtf bardock just sends goku off because he "had a feeling"? also also why would vegeta ever be so nonchalant about his entire race being wiped out?

Toriyama just changes shit as he sees fit nowadays.

Now to wait for "Dragon Ball Ultra" where we will see a retelling of this movie before moving onto adapting the new Manga arc.

yeah its very odd that they ended super the anime but let the manga keep going when the manga is basically glorified promotional material for the anime. but yeah i'm up for more dragonball.

now i'm not in favor of destroying a man's career without any proof but if they did recast Broly for a new anime i doubt it would be even remotely jarring because he only had like 8 fucking lines in a nearly 2hr movie CENTERED ON HIS CHARACTER!!! seriously tho wtf.

At least the new Manga arc isn't recycling villains from Z so far. But Toyotaro is probably itching to draw another recycling of the "Goku punching Piccolo in the gut" sequence again.

Super's lack of proper villains is pretty disappointing. i know a lot of people thought he sucked but i really liked Zamasu as a villain.

Super was pretty much trash but it had some good moments.

i like super just fine but its first 3 arcs are pretty meh and its first 2 arcs had already been told and animated sooooo... yeah. but the fight between goku and caulifla was pretty good.

I only liked the filler, the SSJBKaioken, the Kefla fight and the last moments of the tournament of Power.

super really was at its best with its slice of life stuff.

I fucking hated the Kefla fight. Not because the fight itself, but because of Kefla. Don't know why they had to make her so obnoxious, specially when one of half of the fusion is not annoying. I'm fine with Kale, but fuck Caulifla.

I also liked Zamasu and his arc for the most part but after two years of thinking about it, it didn't need Future Trunks. Future Trunks didn't deserved to get dragged into it. They could have done the whole evil Kai that decides to kill all mortals without Future Trunks.

honestly the ridiculously stupid convoluted bullshit that resulted from putting future trunks into the story is at least half of what makes that arc entertaining.

Well Vegitto was obnoxious too when they fused back in Z so it made sense for Kefla to dl the same.

The Zamasu arc was straight outta a Linkin Park AMVs author's fanfic. I really disliked that whole part.

Big difference between cocky and cool and outright annoying and obnoxious. Vegito is the former, Kefla is the latter. Also, Vegito being cocky makes sense since both Goku and Vegeta are cocky. You can't tell the dominant personality in Vegito. Kefla is literally just Caulifla with no trace of Kale.

domiant personailty in vegito is vegeta because he refers to himself as a fusion of kakarot and vegeta. at any rate i like caulifla. only thing bugs me about her is how quickly she gains SSJ status but that's been a probelm long before super came around.

Kefla is Caulifla's abarassiveness combined with wanting to bone herself to the point of murderous insanity (from Kale's part of the fusion) so she loves herself even more.
Goten and Trunks got SSJ off screen at 10 years old, if anything Caulifla and Kale actually cheated on screen so it's okay.
