@zegh8578 honestly most likely me too, but at the hands of an Englishman with a loose claim to Northern France, and I’d die in battle defending one of my ancestral homelands (France at large, not Northern France). I’d also like to be around for the French Revolution, just see how that turns out. Had ancestors that were a part of that too.

Now is fine I guess. Lots of places that'd be cool to visit but living now ain't that bad.

Interwar period. Would be interesting to watch the Old Continent rebuild from the ashes of one war and plunge into another.

I guess Biblical times, to see my forefathers.

Yeah. We have a good idea of most time periods of the past. But who knows what will be the state of humanity, the planet and even the universe so far in the future.

I would prefer to see the unknown. Also, the future might bring "holodeck" technology, so it allows us to (kinda) experience other time periods at will.

Holodeck technology would require a method to convert energy into matter which is basically fantasy.

Obviously we regressed, @Squadcar. I wanna see humanity at its worst.

I am sure they will be able to make holodecks in the future, if humanity doesn't become extinct before that.

Okay but can they create fully sentient beings and then use them as prostitutes? BTW yes that's a thing in star Trek according to DS9.
