Why not just mod the game to have custom music?

You don't even need to mod it, the PC version apparently comes with an integrated custom radio station.

Several GTAs lost several music tracks because the licensing ended. Best thing you can do is add them back in manually.

Adding the music to the custom station isn't the same as having the songs on their proper radio station tbh.

I agree, but that's unfortunately the only way to have those tracks in the game.

I really miss GTA 4, after some considerable ammount of playtime, I started just loading up the custom radio channel with everything I thought'd fit driving and cruising and reckin shit. After that, I hardly ever listened to anything else.

Fun random - I added M.I.A's "Bad Girls" to my custom radio channel, seeing as how well it fits cruising - both musically but also thematically, as well as being all badass - fitting GTA. Then GTA5 comes along, and the song's allready included :v

... couldn't you just put the disc into the PlayStation and then... Not update? I mean they can't go around and alter every disc can they?
