Correction, 20% is their cut, and they also demand I buy the opportunity to even apply to each job. How do people even make money on these things? Even if I went through the hoops I would make less money in average than in my current job.
All this corporate burocracy and charges on yoru income kinda seem like the complete opposite of the "freelancing" spirit that people always talk about, for the money they are taking from you from each job you could be paying for your healthcare or I don't know, a union that would actually protect your rights as a worker.
Seems like these services are basically exploiting people with Bohemian dreams creating and even worse heirarchy than regular capitalism. They even seem to have paid shills that go heap praise on them on any forum that voices dissatisfaction with the service, some even seem like they are reggurgitating a Power point presentation in their "totally real person reddit post".
