You beat it? What did you think of Cliff and Sam?

Cliff and Sam and the whole last two hours saved the game for me. The game was falling apart and the Amelie beach sequence in particular I would pin as the worst thing Kojima has done. Conversely, Cliff's death and the "Last delivery" are some of Kojima's best. I viewed Cliff as a stand in for Big Boss/MGS as a whole and that metaphor came to fruition really nicely in his death scene

I also really liked how the ending really recontextualized the UCA and the Chiral Network as being abuses of connectivity much like social media and affirmed that inter-personal, chosen (rather thane enforced like the chiral network) connections are most important.
