All shit I never heard of. I'm so out of touch with anime. I just end up watching old shit.

The old shit is where it's at anyways. Most new anime is mediocre anyways.

Most old anime is mediocre as well. It's all about finding the good stuff in any era. Great Pretender right now seems pretty promising.

Yeah I guess so. I just can't help feel like most anime is mediocre when I always see the anime community overhype the most mediocre looking shit. Black Clover, Demon Slayer, Goblin Slayer. Meanwhile Vinland Saga barley got any attention.

As you said it's probably just me being biased and cherry picking the good anime from the 80/90's. The truth is most anime released in these times are probably mediocre as well.

Vinland saga barely got any attention because it was a prime exclusive. I love the manga but the animes dialogue just isn't as good.
