"Empty" may not be the right word for it. Maybe "simple" gets the feeling across better? This is not necessarily a bad thing though as too much effects, lighting and fluff can make this kind of game nice to look at when not playing, but not so great when playing.

So far it looks like CSGO + Overwatch.

It's hero selection CounterStrike. I wouldn't compare it to Overwatch. A meta does develop but player skill matters far more than team composition ever would. I played it a lot in beta and had fun for awhile. Play it here and there but not much. Needs custom games and mods and shit, like any multiplayer title does.
