No Mutants Allowed

At this point the lore of the series is Spaguetti anyway.

Yeah, it deply saddens me that every interpretation of the Brotherhood of Steel is now going to be held back by the fact that a bunch of people in Appalachia are LARPing as them.

What do you expect? The site is handled by Bethesda fanboys. From what I hear many companies like Bethesda own the Fandom Wiki's of their games. They pretty much only have loyalists and fanboys run the Wiki's. No way in hell will Bethesda allow the Fallout Wiki to point out any inconsistencies that Bethesda does to the lore established in the OG Fallouts and New Vegas.

@RangerBoo It's not just Bethesda lore that ruins it. They make stupid inaccurate speculations: they claim the NCR has been at war with the Fiends for 17 years, based solely on the fact that that's how long the NCR has been in the Mojave, they basically entire speculate on the causes of the NCR-Brotherhood war based on references stretched way beyond their meaning.

There are Dragons in Fallout now, and they cause a magic disease that turn people into radioactive crystal and crystal zombies.

There is? I always liked to read the Fallout Wiki, but I do admit that I never found a inaccurate/misinterpreted info there. Yeah, wikis arent perfect by any means, but I really having a hard time to remember if I saw any information that was wrong there.

If you have some evidence, could you show it or at least put a link of one page that has wrong info in it? I would like to see it.

I guess I agree. Rubbed me the wrong way how it said that random-minor-side-character Bruce Issac describing the Bishop leader similarly to FO2's Bishop child ending confirms it as "cannon."
To me that was clearly just a little reference to make FO2 players nostalgic.

Edit: now that I think about it, this problem probably isn't exclusive to Fallout...

@XNarrol I'd cite as the most recent examples I found the NCR-Fiends War page, which I've seen multiple people cite as "The NCR and Fiends have been at war for 17 years" despite the fact that nothing in the game reinforces that, and the Myron Page where they blindly speculate that Myron's contribution to Jet was making it easier to mass produce, besides nothing in the game reinforcing that whatsoever.

The Myron one is partially the result of Bethsda retcons, but they've completely blindly speculated on what role Myron plays in Bethesda lore with literally no evidence to back it up.

There are plenty of examples like this. Just look at the citations for everything you read, and you'll find that a lot of stuff is just straight up baseless misinformation, or otherwise wild speculations, that the evidence doesn't reinforce.
