I've not read to part 5 yet but watch most of the new season. How is it that much like Part 3? The only thing I really see so far is how Jolyne is assembling a crew but that also happened in Part 4 and in Part 5 it also happened but rather with the respect of individual members towards Giorno.
Part 3: THe crusaders go on a multy country trip to find Dio, while being stopped at every location by a hitman at the service of DIO, halfway through a new group of more elite Hitmen are introduced and the protagonist defeats Dio, overcoming his mysterious time manipulation power.
Part 5: Bucciarati's gang go on a multy city trip to reach the boss. Halfhway through a new group of more elite hitmen are introduced on the service of the Boss and the protagonist defeats the Boss, overcoming his mysterious time manipulation power.
They are basically the exact same structure almost to a T, but the interactions of the Crusaders are much more enjoyable than Bucciarati's gang's interactions, mostly because there is no real team chemistry among them and Giorno while also being stoic and "badass" like Jotaro has less presence and feel much less like a character.
I really thought you were talking about Part 6 and even said Part 5 myself while meaning Part 6.
Part 5 is better than 3 in my opinion. And all the end game guys in Part 3, 4, 5, and 6 have some time ability. It's a pretty common thing for this series so far. I don't know about 7 and 8.
But Kira's involvement is not simply him staying in a castle and sending his hitmen to dispose of the DUWgang while they travel japan, Neither is Pucci's, Funny Valentine is an interesting case because his men are searching for the corpse parts which is something Johnny and Gyro get tangled up with incidentally and the trip is for something else.
