There are ones for anal and vaginal use. The ones for butt are ussually kind of allergical, some kind of sugar thingy that too much rejected by the body tissue. Or just some kind of nasty salts.
The ones for vaginal are either for fungicide or...if you looking for some plus effect, some kind of hormonal drug.
Some people seem to think that would make good neuropathic drug delivery intake.

Hmmm - reason I looked it up, is cus I write a character with a shattered jaw, and thus mouth sewn shut - (happened irl to a friend of mine, he had his mouth sewn shut for 3 months) - he would ingest all food as liquid, through his teeth, but painkillers had to be through suppositories

Jaded and depressed by the whole ordeal, he would sometimes shove them right up his butt, in plain public, right there at the bus stop and stuff

Inhaler requires equipment = cost ineffective. Suppositories just go up the butt, and dissolve
