No Mutants Allowed

Monkey Island 1 & 2 were my entries into adventure games along with other Lucasarts classics and I really loved them.
I was rather disappointed that it took so long for there to be a MI3 after the ending of MI2.

So I was quite happy when the Curse of Monkey Island came though I was a bit disappointed how the characters' design has been made more stylized.
However VA work like Earl Boen's made a lot of things good.
Just the final chapter felt rushed.

But then we got Escape from Monkey Island and I realized that the series started to suffer from rot.
Not just the graphics changed but also the controls.
And the story... I really did not care for the story. If anything MI started with nostalgia references here,
I never finished it as I hated Monkey Kombat.
