Hm, I thought wikipedia and datafarming had killed most of the "secret level" hypes and such. I'm glad kids today still bullshit each others with these things. Adds some magic!

I was somewhere between four and seven at the time, I didn't bother with Wikipedia at the time (though I did have an account on a Power Rangers fanon wiki, so there you see my focus at the time.) This was before I even knew what a headcrab was called (my dad and I called them "chickens.")

Yes, it's always gonna be an age thing up untill a certain age, but with my friends, we didn't have wikipedia even if we wanted to cheats, secrets, litterally spread by word of mouth. I miss that

I remember when one of the best sources for cheat codes was Nickelodeon magazine. That was a a strange time.
