Indeed, it had almost as many errors like the real Churchill. What's not to love!

The Sherman was definetly not a perfect tank, but considering all the characteristics a succesfull tank required in WW2, it was without a doubt one of the best medium tanks of that time.

yeah it was designed for a flanker and "engine destroyer" lolz

i like how american solve the manufacturing and spare part of sherman, while german only figure it out only in the late as 1944
(the entwicklung series)

Well, the E-Series never went into production though, it was always just a paper project. No one knows how well it would have actually performed. Anyway, anything the Germans did was to late in 1944 anyway.

As far as the "flanker" goes, I think, with all respect for you of course, that you have a wrong idea about what the intended goal and design of medium tanks was. We should also not forget that the US had a slightly different understanding of how armor should be used on the battlefield, compared to the British, Germans and Russians.

Remind me...well sherman have high silloutte, fast turret and high terrain resistance. Gun that works great if you aim for rear armor and track. So what Tank Doctrine That US held?

Bear in mind that I am not a tank expert, so it's all more a laymans perspective. However, the biggest difference in US and German tank doctrine, for example, is when you look at tank hunters. The Germans classified turret less tanks like the Stug and Jagdpanzer IV as tank hunters, where as the M10, M18 and M36 had all turrets but classified as tank destroyers by the US doctrine.
