I noticed that. I was hoping that they'd do it more like Garrett from Thief (occasional remarks and snide jokes at the situation & people at hand during gameplay) but Corvo remarks too often in-game for my liking (even though Stephen Russell was doing an older version of Garrett's voice for Dishonored 2)
In Thief's defence, Garrett from the classic Thief games was not some 'le gruff old badass voice no. 6 million' (the modern remake was unfortunately). He was an arrogant, greedy bastard who could make snide comments on the situation but had a shred of decency that made him relatable. Corvo sounded too much like a generic gruff old veteran in Dishonored 2.
