They're in the same boat. They're literally the same thing except one has the distinction of being based on a manga.

They do have different philosophies. Few cartoons get to chapter 800 bar Simpsons. Also those were aired along cartoons, no wonder.

Graves you dated yourself. 2003 TMNT series or Johnny Quest or Thundarr the Barbarian are worth watching.

I did watch 2003 TMNT. I remember arguing with crni in the tv series and you thread because I thought it was the best incarnation. I didnt name every cartoon I love because im on mobile.

I do like the original too but I think 2003 is the best show nostalgia aside.

I appreciate that it wasn't afraid to adapt the darker storylines from the comic. Like when the toy comes to life? Remember?

Can't Recall. I am in the process of rewatching all of them. I do think I watched most of the series. It was big when I was a senior in high school.

The comic definitely inspired it more which was awesomesauce.
