Well, The US pretty much did most of the Japan war by them self, while they entered late in Europe, they fought the Germans already since 1942, first in Africa, than Italy and later France. It is true though, that most of the fighting happend between the Soviets and the Germans. Still, the US gained quite a lot of quick victories in France.
And many victories have been gained here exactly for the reasons you named, superior tactics and logistics. No nation in WW2, mastered the question of logistics as perfectly like the United States.
Yeah, the USA is pretty much The Industrial powerhouse after soviet union, so it does make sense for that.
Iam interested in military doctrine that nation use in land battle, The german have blitzkrieg which put trust into spearhed armored penetration followed by infantry division. The soviet union have deep battle which is quite complex to explain here.
