Because they sucked for a solid 10 years.

Do they suck or do you just not like them.
I hate how some retards would treat their opinion as fact.

No their consoles were just full of 98% shovel ware and rereleases with only the very occasional gem. Or do you like when a consoles library is mostly full of shit like Balls of Fury for the Wii

That is also the same thing for PS and the xbox. Heck, even PC has a shit ton of shovelware that gave indie games a bad reputation.

The difference being that ps3 and Xbox 360 and PC also have as many good games as shovel ware.

Sounds like he is describing most consoles.

For every 1 good indie game, there is 10-20 shovelware games on steam.
However, the good games of every system will always overshadow the bad.

You're missing the point. It was ESPECIALLY bad for the Wii. And no the wii was the only console of that gen where bad signifantly overshadowed the good.

Both the Gamecube and the Wii U had pretty good libraries (especially from first party developers.) The Wii had... problems. There were plenty of good games (again, most first party titles, Sonic Colors, Smash Bros. Brawl, Okami, et cetera.)

The problem is that there were also a lot more bad games on average than any of the Wii's competitors, and they unfortunately overshadowed the good. It's a shame, too. There are enough good games to satisfy most people, but all everybody thinks about is the shovelware.

Ben gets it.
