Or you could go full mail and small bit of lamellar like me, much lighter and not sweaty under hot weather.
Also cool turkic/altaic Warmask please , great helmet and bascinet just look ugly and not much ventilation to breath ;P
Just beware that pistol and grenados beat them all, which by the time such armor like transition plate were common they were widely available also.
