Yes there is. I posted my maps with all those crappy bits fixed a few threads back. Don't think anyone cared at the time. Here it is again: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HO5NP60V

I don't like the leather straps. Anyone to remove them? Or change the image into something else?

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

If you guys want maps that look better in windscreen, you can download mine from the following location. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HO5NP60V These are meant to be used with the high res patch and Killaps Unofficial patch. They are not the greatest since I'm not a modder and this was...

Fallout 2 mod Unofficial Fo2 patch thread - problems, reports, suggestions

I was told to post this here instead of the other treath. I edited most of the maps with the mapper so they would look better with the high resolution patch (extended the borders to 1680x1050 and removed all the brown squares and a few other things) . But after installing the unofficial...

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

SFall only slows down my game big time. I don't see any graphical improvements either. What is the real advantage to using it? And am I doing anything wrong or does it really slow down the game to a crawl?

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

You probably don't have that resolution set in your control panel. First create a custom resoluion for your video card. Than set the resolution in the game. It should work. I wanted to play at 1440x900 and had to do the same.

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

That's fine. Than I guess you can keep the default map with a whole in the middle, dark brown tiles all around, and empty black space on each side. I'm going to keep fixing the maps for myself and a few buddies of mine who also play fallout. I have better things to do than spend hours and...

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

[/img] This is the bridge level. It's the best i can do with my limited knowledge and it supports resolutions up to 1680x1050.

Fallout 2 Map Editor Draw Order

Thanks, that worked. Now, is there a list of all the maps in fallout 2?

Fallout 2 Map Editor Draw Order

Does anyone know how to send objects to the front and back in the fallout 2 map editor? I'm fixing the maps for the high resolution patch and one of the biggest problems are the bridge maps. All you get is a whole surrounded by black squares when playing at high res. Now, I expanded the map...

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

"And I'm certain someone will take up the challenge eventually. " Ok, I started editing the maps, but how do you determine the draw order? I'm trying to fix the bridge maps and it's looks good for the most part, however, I don't know how to have one texture on top of another. How do you move...

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

"Set the screen resolution here, Scr_width = 1280 Scr_hight =720 " Thanks for the tip. But shouldn't that be 1280x800? That is the correct 16:10 aspect ratio at that resolution. This new version is great. Much better than the previous one. Will there be a new version for Fallout 1 as...

Hi-Res Patches for Fallout1&2 & the BIS Mapper

Is there anyway to reduce the number "extra" tiles around the screen? For example, when i get to the edge of a map, I see quite a few extra tiles "stitched" on although my character can't move beyond a certain point. Is it possible to remove a certain amount of those tiles so my character stops...

    Fallout2.exe Patcher

"Mash submitted a file called Fallout2 Resolution Patch v1.0.zip to us. I don't have Fallout 2 installed and can't try it out (yeah, for shame), so can one of you cooks give it a spin for me? If it's a fully functioning resolution patch, that's big news." Where is that Patch? The link takes...
