Be aware that if you change the difficulty (harder), it will lower certain skills by 10-15%, and thanks for sharing your encounter rate, I have the same (WorldMapEncounterRate=25). It's not a question of ammo because I use the machete on easy enemies, Geckos pelt is a decent cash revenue to a...

I make Mr. Wright the owner for the same reason mentioned by Alphons, it's a shame though cause I would have preferred to appointed Nelson as owner, however, I tend to not appreciate "sheriff/law-abiding" characters, In this type of Fallout game (1 & 2 at least) most of the time you have better...

A Tale of Two Wastelands Multiplayer Functional

It's sad because Bethesda games without mods are 1 - Way too buggy (and they don't bother to properly solve/fix most issues/bugs) 2 - Simply not up to date/optimized compared to recent games of the same year and years before their releases (graphically and gameplay-wise) 3 - Poorly optimized...

Yeah, I thought about it when I first arrived in Lovelock (the option even surprise me at first), but I was like ... maybe it's a too much straightforward introduction for those tribals, and didn't want to be blocked from certain quests right away. This is was nowadays games lack, CHOICE...

Do someone knows in Nevada during the "family" (man and woman wearing Vault Suits with their children and the RV) encounter, the guy ask for some help (fix the Shotgun, repair Van and bring him 10 Water Flasks), I did all that and was expecting him to show me the Stimpak recipe. Is he supposed...

You'll find during that encounter a "syringe" and you can use it on the "screaming" guy, don't remember if it gives you any XP or reward though ... I will continue my playthrough of Nevada tomorrow, I was playing another mod on a different Fallout. I've also started an Olympus 2077 playthrough...

I've found the Police Laser Pistol during the random encounter near Vegas, I finally got my hands on a good Energy Weapons, reached level 16. Next level I'll use the Tag! perk and will have more than enough skill points in EW. When I get the Power Armor, I will be a living cleanser of the Wasteland.

Glad to finally be able to help someone else (I know it can be frustrating when stuck in a quest sometimes ...), I have a question regarding Energy Weapons, is it worth spending the "Tag!" perk on it because I've reached level 15 and I'm at 65% in EW and I wait to reach 100% before taking Tag...

That's weird, don't rightly know if there's an issue in your quest development, I did the quest without any trouble, but like Alphons said the 2 guys are hanging behind a destroyed building of some sort south to the fence, you need to speak to them (after all defenses are shut down) so they can...

Quote of a random Powder Gangers in NV, when I see that kind of post I know Alphons is a true fan of Fallout. Something else that I find funny is when Powder Ganger members said "Man, running low on smokes again" and there's a pack of cigarettes next to him ...

Cleaned Reno of Stryker (and his gang), I'm Luciano consigliere now and finish Mr. Wright's quests, the only issue in Reno it's that I can't turn in the final quest to Bertolini because I already killed Thompson, that's a shame he throws me out of the casino each time I try to speak to him (I...

This is neat, Initiative is it the same as "sequence"? Well, I've put some more points in Sneak, I'm at 75% now and will try to raise it to 100%, but not above that. I've started to increase Science a bit because it is needed in Poseidon to unlock doors and many other situations (Science...

Thank you for that, I sure wouldn't have thought to use the shampoo there, and for Bertolini, I'll try to steal his armory, my sneak is at 60%. Speaking of Sneak it's way more useful in Nevada than in Fallout 1 & 2 so far, it allows some cheesy stuff during combat, really nice.

To get the SMG you have to save Steve when you arrived in Gerlach by passing a Speech check, then wait 3 days for Gerlach to receive the weapon. You'll get an SMG eventually, and at Hawthorne, I recommend that you save a dynamite stick for a door when you reach the building with the 2 turrets...

Thanks, I paid the guy in Reno for attaching a Scope for my Hunting Rifle, now I'm geared up pretty nicely (nice machete for saving ammo, a 10mm pistol with a Flashlight underneath the barrel that I found from rescuing Terry the Chemist in Stryker base after completed all his quests, also have a...

Nice, I did give some jerky to someone that helped me find the culprit doing the graffitis. I have a question regarding weapon modifications, for example, can I install myself a scope on a Hunting Rifle, or do I absolutely need to pay the guy at the Train Station in Reno, maybe someone installs...

The battle with the Courrier was pretty rough, but now I'm the proud owner of a Flamethrower, it's BBQ time! (Well, only on tougher enemies) Alphons, do you know if we can fill all those empty water flasks?
