Where I play and review the Yakuza series

This is what I got from my old playthrough so feel free to switch up things here and there: Ichiban's best class is his Hero class due to the amount of buffs he can give (especially if his social stats are high). EDIT: His ultimate weapon for this class is pretty useful as well. Saeko is best...

Nintendo's E3 is the only one of these conferences I actually kinda liked. The rest could have been replaced by Powerpoint presentations and I wouldn't have batted an eye. I suspect that BOTW2 will tie into Skyloft to some extent.

    Starfield

Took a look at the teaser and wasn't impressed. It is standard non-gameplay teaser so it does not pique interest. Kinda similar to their first teaser. Based on Bethesda's games post-Oblivion (and even harkening to the pre-Oblivion days), I suspect it will be another buggy mess at launch with...

    Mass Effect Remaster, NOT Remake

To be fair, Kai Leng was introduced via the Mass Effect novel, Retribution, that was written by Drew Karpyshyn. He came across as a edge lord there too even if he was effective at completing his job. Still got both his legs shot out by Anderson though :roffle:. He had to crawl to an escape pod...

    Mass Effect Remaster, NOT Remake

I'm still sticking with modded Mass Effect. The Galaxy at War mod really improves 3 and there are plenty of ending mods. 1 needed some QOL improvements though so I guess that is the only benefit to the remaster I can think of. To be fair, the novels that introduced Kai Leng IIRC established...

    NMA Wasteland 3 review

For co-op, my brother and I played on GoG so my experience may differ from those playing on Steam. For one thing, we did not locate anyone else's public lobby and we could only locate our own lobbies when one of us (usually me) hosts a game. Yes, we did have to play it simultaneously whereby it...

    NMA Wasteland 3 review

I bought this game for myself and my younger brother. Had a great time in the co-op together as we coordinated and strategized around the combat encounters (I did while he figured out exploits to even the odds). We accidentally lucked our way into a pretty entertaining build involving rocket...

@Aurelius Of Phoenix I thought that if there is a game that would be remade, it would be Code Veronica and 0. 4 still holds up before and after. I agree that 6 is god-awful and that it would need to be remade from the ground up to fix its mess. 5 is fun with the co-op at least.

Where I play and review the Yakuza series

Judgment sequel confirmed. :hatersgonnahate: Global release on 24.09.2021. I guess Resident Evil Village and Disco Elysium: Final Cut aren't the only major releases I'll be playing this year.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

I like him in that he's an average person who gets pulled into the mess of a Resident Evil protagonist. He's not my all-time favorite (for me, tied between Leon and Jill) but he is fine for what he is. That said, I'm glad to see from the demo that he emotes a lot more than he did in RE7 and...

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

I played Resident Evil Remake 1 recently. Finished Jill and Chris's campaigns and while it took some getting used to, I enjoyed my time with the game. Crit headshots are music to my ears everytime. Started re-playing RE2 Remake to try get S+ ranks. Boy, it ain't easy. Had to master how to knife...

Many a True Nerd "Fallout 3 is Better than you Think"

Was just referring to how that recently banned troll wanted you to justify how NV improved over 3. Since said troll is gone, I guess that's the end of that.

Rageaholic Review/Critique of Fallout New Vegas

I predicted that it would make posts to bash NV though not how fast it would be banned. I wanna go on record to say that I despise level scaling. I rather have high level areas that I can still try to overcome with irrational stupidity than have a world that levels up with me. That was the...
