    The 10mm and 14mm pistols are described as autoloading, so a burst would work for them. The Mauser is also an automatic, I'm not sure about the Desert Eagle. The others don't fire that quickly, and are powerful enough already.

    The 13-year limit is hardcoded, as a consequence of how the time and date is stored. It's the same as the 2038 problem, except that Fallout counts 1/10ths of seconds.

    It isn't too difficult to do this yourself. The time limit is set by a variable in master.dat/data/vault13.gam . Extract that file (it's plaintext, despit the extension), and change the variable from 150 to 5000 or so. It will take effect when you start a new game.

    I think that's just the way the engine draws things, similar to the 'floor' objects. The blood goes away after a while, so if you go sell some of your loot and come back, you should be able to get the rest.
