I personally think that the "haha funny lolz" that Bethesda uses in their Fallouts comes from the mistakes that were Tactics and BoS. I think that people often forget how off track Interplay was getting before it lost the IP.

Well in that case it probably is a lot easier in turn based. I've always done full ranged squad.

I used to play Tactics that way and let me tell you, It is sooooo much easier in real time. I know that sounds wrong but it was only play tested in real time and for some reason using turn based makes the game harder.

Currently replaying through most of the Fallouts. I've been roleplaying as myself with permadeath. On Fallout 3 now and it is the first one I was able to beat. In Fallout 2 I wasn't able to make it out of the temple of trials due to a critical hit during the unarmed fight at the end.

What is the proper way to update the mod? I havent had the time to play it yet but it is sitting on my harddrive waiting.

I think that is why it really stands out for me as well. I am not too much into fantasy themes and sci fi themes tend to be a bit cheesy, lame, or over the top.

Based on what Interplay was dishing out before Van Buren I would go with New Vegas. Tactics was okay but not a good Fallout per say, and BoS was just something else entirely. I think that a fully realized and finished New Vegas would have been much better than what a finished Van Buren would...

It was most likely done by A.I. then touched up by people who know little to none about Fallout.

I think that they probably have a fleet of small boats but if they have an airforce it's probably 10 to 25~ vertibirds and maybe a handful of primative or rustbucket prewar planes. I doubt they would have any jets or anything considering there is no need or really the resources to support it.

Got my hopes up until the Shandy Sands library sign that seemed to indicate (at least to me) that the NCR were taken out and then with all the BoS junk I lost all hope. I am betting that something it'll be something like "Arthur Maxson used the ruins of the Institute to build a second airship...
