I don't know, but I didn't figure out that was the reason until I started off the game without tweaking my AP up and they didn't run away. So, little by little, I raised the AP up until they did run away and 50 was as far as I could go until they did. One thing I did notice is when I got further...
Another thing that will cause enemies to run away is if you have more than 50 action points and more than 40 bonus move points. I did an experiment with that and also use some of Nirran's mods that I've tweaked that expand NPC's HP, AP and other skills, usually matched to yours (rats will have...
Pretty cool. Thanks for those. I changed the tribals that you encounter (cannibals, etc) so I could give them different weapons besides spears or SMGs (I've done that throughout the game before, like that green haired Mohawk raider, thanks to those new punk girl animations.) I had to...
The one time it gets to be a pain in the arse is when you're in a tight area like in the tanker when you install the navigation system. There's a lot of wrangling going on, unless you have most of them wait elsewhere. The other mod where you tell them to get out of the way is definitely handy...
That's definitely a good thing. I was about to mention the fact I couldn't move when I tried this last night. What caused it to where you couldn't move to begin with?
You know, it might be a pain in the ass to implement, but you could probably utilize that middle one for the trader you deal with at the Umbra Tribe that tries to rip you off. Of course, he has an eye patch and you're out in the open, though.
Not sure if that tool is still around, but there is another one the I think will pretty much do the same thing and it works with current mods and such. http://www.nma-fallout.com/showthread.php?185130-Fallout-2-Savegame-Editor&highlight=vad%27s+editor You can add stuff, change it, whatever you want.
What about the doctor in NCR, or those Deathclaws when you watch the Brahmin? Usually, those are other options to find Vault 13. I'm not sure about doing that being stupid, though.
I have to admire your determination in doing this. I tried to play a stupid character once years ago, but it only lasted very briefly before it really annoyed me and I had to change it back.
OK, everything seems to be working good now, other than the buttons still being white with no labeling, but that's not really a big deal, since it's working. I put back the original .ini file so I wouldn't keep getting nagged because of it. Before, I didn't realize that you could change...
