Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.1 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

My only suggestion would be to drop all items, talk to him again, then pick up ONLY 10 normal knifes and 5 normal spears, then talk to him again. Other than that it sounds bugged, and I would check for the integrity of the installation.

This is of course the first thing I did as well, hehe. This was back in 1.0 I did this though, stinks that you still got the same response.

One might argue that this is a "good" thing, and doesn't necessarily contradict the gecko endings you listed per se. Talking politics for a moment... Ultimately, Lynette's prejudice of mutants, or even non-citizens for that matter would have been a negative influence and the possible...

Not to mention everything thats in the trunk! This is a great suggestion but I think killap already knows about it, so I would expect to see it fixed in 1.2. To whom it may concern, I visited the slavers camp last night pretty late in the game. It went a little something like this. Me +...

Woops yeah I was thinking of Gecko. Well...assassinate that first citizen b*tch and see what happens

Hmm....do you get this by not elimating raiders and/or supporting bishop.

Re: NCR I think you'll be alright. I remember seeing a fix that makes that merchants guards react to you having weapons drawn. Maybe after the first time he trusts you or something.

Well supposedly killap changed this in his restoration.

    Spear swing attack

I vote spear with dynamite on the end like in FOT:BOS lol. Or something like the punch gun in FOT, where the fist could fire one shotgun round when punched. You guys have to admit the weapons in FOT were awesome.

Did you optimize Gecko's reactor? Also, did you give the economic disk to McClure in vault city?

No, if by shortly after the 4th dream sequence you don't bring the GECK, they all die of famine...game over.

Doesn't planting the seeds just buy you more time to find the GECK?

You CAN plant seeds in Arroyo. I just make sure you use them on an empty spot in the garden (where a corn stalk isn't growing)

Maybe we're looking the wrong place for the vertibird? What do you think?
  15. S

Fallout 2 Restoration Project Gameplay Thread

I also agree with the latter. Here's what I've pieced together so far.... 1.) There are 2 vertibirds in Navarro. 2.) One needs to be repaired, the other is functional as far as I know. 3.) The database (snookie password) gives some vague information on using a vertibird to get to the oil...

I think it also helps to get as much information as you can from Stark at the Corrections Center in Vault City. He obviously won't pin point the raiders for you but he is basically the main source whom you find that they are coming from the "south" etc... @darek Thanks for that info I'll...

Same here. I even obtained the location of the pad through the computer in the lower Navarro floor (the one with the "Snookie" password) Maybe it's the vertibird that the Sarg makes you guard?

Fallout 2 Restoration Project Gameplay Thread

Haha nope he doesn't. I was kind of wondering the same thing the first time I met him, but after a while I just ignored his stupid rantings (afterall he would have to pass it with the rest of the council) and nothing ever happened. But now that you mention it, it would be cool if there were 2-3...

Lock picks are definitely a great way to boost your lock pick skill, but unfortunately for most people, running all the way to gecko for a lousy set of regular lock picks is pretty unreasonable that early in the game. Your almost better off running to navarro and grabbing the advanced set...

Hmm I send my regards as well. Do you have a MAC? If not...back up your save games, completely uninstally Fo2, make sure ALL files are deleted in that directory, then reinstall and go straight to this expansion patch/mod.
