I think after the love New Vegas got among Fallout fans and the idea of how Obsidian "schooled" Bethesda on how to make a Fallout game, I'll be really surprised if they get the job again. I really really hope they do though. But yes, Obsidian could apply the Role Playing part of RPG to start.
